The Role Model for the DEI GRECI

The original idea for the Dei Greci was actually based on the Russian BMP and BMD series, together with the ASU-85.
However when it came down to scratch building the first hull, I realized that all the different angles and shapes were very impractical for a (scratch build) vehicle family.
So I went back to the drawing board and looked for a new shape, based on more practical aspects. In a back-corner of my mind I remembered the funny looking APC that the US Special Forces used.
A quick search in the internet revealed the name "Hägglunds BV206".
As you can see, this funny little bugger is very versatile, highly mobile, and most important, transportable via helicopeter, aircraft and ships.
Just what I wanted!
And so I created the DEI GRECI, based on the Hägglunds BV206 :)
